"After a thorough study, Photovoltech decided to implement the Prediktor APIS Click & Trace MES suite in conjunction with the APIS Analytics Data Mining module. It was of major importance to Photovoltech to invest in a very flexible MES system which offers, on top of the standard MES capabilities, an open structure, an easy upgradability without having to shutdown the product, reliable single wafer tracking and a creative database structure. The MES solution offers on the one hand an interface to our external data mining suite which has a huge added value for the operational floor while it incorporates the embedded and powerful APIS Analytics Data Mining module which we believe will be of great importance for our R&D activities. On top of all this the APC Advanced Process Control framework is incorporated, allowing us to think in the near future about result driven automatic process control." said Hans Vanelderen, Engineering & Maintenance Manager at Photovoltech.
