Vanguard Energy Partners today announced the expansion and relocation of Vanguard's New Jersey headquarters to offices at One Commerce St. in Branchburg. The new corporate headquarters includes over 15,000-square-feet of office and warehouse space, allowing Vanguard to house a growing workforce of "green-collar" executives, sales and support staff.
Vanguard's expansion includes the opening of a new office at 60 West Broad Street in Bethlehem, P.A., allowing the solar services firm to extend its capabilities and meet the growing demand for solar energy among businesses, government agencies and educational institutions in the Keystone State.
The expansion coincides with the appointment of Jim LaFleur as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. LaFleur has held executive level positions in real estate, construction, and mining throughout the United States and overseas. He is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and will leverage decades of leadership and experience in the private and military sectors to expand Vanguard's rapidly growing solar services company.
"Jim LaFleur brings a tremendous amount of leadership experience in the construction and real estate industries to Vanguard," said Nelson Ferreira, chairman of Vanguard Energy Partners. "We've experienced tremendous growth in the last 18 months and Jim possesses the expertise and industry knowledge to lead us during this rapidly evolving transition to clean energy alternatives."
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. LaFleur said, "I'm excited to join the Vanguard team during this successful period of growth and look forward to expanding our footprint nationally to include other states like Pennsylvania where the demand for solar is driving the industry. The new office in Bethlehem will put Vanguard in position to support Pennsylvania's commitment to solar renewable energy and we're happy to support the state's green economy."
